Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese entrepreneur living in Orange County California. Alongside my amazing partner JP and my jolly father Henry. My followers are mostly on my Instagram page, @annephung. Here I tell my tale of highs, lows and everything in-between. My family moved to America. In the age of one and a quarter I was accepted into my parents. My parents were my inspiration and helped me become successful. My plan of life was as follows: I'd go to university, get work in a corporate as well as marry and then buy the house. My life that I thought I would have did not turn out. The amount of money I earned and the importance of my work was not what I wanted to be. I was convinced that I wasted my life for the opportunity to earn a salary. I was passionate about working out and I enjoyed being social and helping others as I navigated towards this new path in life I was drawn to personal training. This year I'll be celebrating my 7th anniversary. In 2014 I began my own business. Very few Asian women have a job in the fashion industry. My mission in this field is to build a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle that meets the needs of my clients. Also, I'm dedicated to empowering others so they are able to achieve their goals, pursue their passions and live the life of your dreams. As my professional career took flight and I was advancing, my mom passed away. This loss is the worst of all. Her battle for 8 years with Scleroderma is over and she rests in Heaven. She will forever remain in my thoughts and mind. It is amazing how life will teach us the exact lessons we need even when we do not realize it. There are many ways that my mom's death changed me. It is my belief that she provided me with another chance to live through her demise. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. Now it was time for her to move on into her new chapter, and for me to have the chance to live an authentic and satisfying life. What I'm experiencing as I enter my 30s, is an experience of vitality and awareness. It feels like I'm truly living and not just existing. As I share the story of my journey, it's in the hope that others can relate to my thoughts and feelings. In order to feel that they're not the only ones. It is also a sign of real love. Therapy is a necessity and it isn't uncommon. In the end, your wellness is your greatest wealth. Because death is all we have in life I want you to enjoy the rest of your days and live with no regrets.
