Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to score a 10 for competing in the Olympics. Comaneci was first discovered by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics coach at the time she was just six years old. First competing in the junior national championships of Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. Then in the year 1970, she was crowned champion. At her first international meet, which was an preolympics junior event for nations in the Communist bloc, she won 3 gold medals. In 1973 and 1975, she won crowned all-around Junior Champion. When she competed for the first time in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva, a Russian athlete, won five gold medals, as well as one silver. She became the first female to do the reverse double salo of the uneven parallel bar after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment industry began during her teens, when she began skating figure along with her sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a part of the entertainment business during her teenage years. At the age of 13 she was a figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. Ice Capades was a show that featured ice-skating performed by actors.
